Food insecurity doesn't take a summer break! Paw's Pantry provides resources year-round to students who might otherwise go hungry. With your gift, you can help keep our shelves stocked this summer and beyond.
We believe that students have enough to worry about in college and that how they will afford to eat should not be one of them. Paw’s Pantry was started in 2013 by a group of students who were concerned about food insecurity facing members of the IUPUI community.
A recent national survey found that 48% of college students have faced food insecurity in the past 30 days and IUPUI is no different. Last year, nearly 150 students utilized Paw’s Pantry each semester. Over 10,000 food and personal hygiene items were distributed to students, staff, faculty, and on-campus affiliates using the pantry during that time.
Your generous gift today will support the food pantry’s mission to fulfill the need for an adequate food supply to promote success, especially the success of our students. Help us keep our pantry stocked this summer…because hunger doesn’t take a summer break!
