More Info

In 2018, the Fairbanks School of Public Health awarded six brand-new scholarships to students because of support from donors like you. These scholarships aid students in completing their education and pursuing internships that would not be otherwise financially feasible.

Ben plans to utilize his education to become an agent of change in his local community upon completing his Master's degrees. His goal is to change the way that we deliver care to those who suffer from drug abuse. Ben plans to obtain a formal leadership position in public health in which he can work to educate and aid underserved populations about their options regarding drug prevention, needle exchange programs, and therapy and recovery programs. Ben received a scholarship in 2018 funded by donations made online, through the mail, and via the telefund. Each gift received helped reduce his student debt and pave the pathway toward a prosperous future.

Your donation today will help us continue to support students like Ben who are working to improve the health and quality of life of individuals everywhere. Please consider making a gift today to encourage more student scholars at FSPH.
