More Info

The IU School of Dentistry International Service Learning Program began in 2000 in partnership with towns in two countries, and it has steadily grown to include multiple locations, numerous IUSD faculty members, and a continuously growing number of IUSD students. Our program currently operates eleven opportunities at six different sites worldwide, giving our students and faculty the opportunity to work with a diverse set of patients and see the impact of their work on a global scale. Your support can help us continue this tradition and improve oral health all over the world.

The goals of the IUSD International Service Learning Program are to:

  • Foster intercultural understanding and respect.
  • Provide needed services as identified by our partner countries.
  • Support learning outcomes appropriate to the dental educational curriculum.
  • Offer personal and professional development opportunities for students and faculty.
  • Promote the development of an oral health workforce with the skills and understanding to work with diverse people in diverse environments.

Please make a gift today to support the ambitious goals of the International Service Learning Program that help countless students and faculty reach their potential while serving deserving patients.
