Your gift to the IU School of Nursing Bloomington Alumni for Students Scholarship makes a significant difference in the lives of students at the IU School of Nursing in Bloomington.
With the support of Joyce Splann Krothe, PhD, RN, IUSON professor and assistant dean, the IUSON Bloomington Alumni for Students Scholarship was established in 2014 as an opportunity for alumni to give back to future generations of nursing students. Your support of the campaign honors Krothe’s 33-year tenure and commitment to student excellence, while also helping to provide the best opportunities to our students and the countless other people and communities that IUSON touches. Every gift to the Bloomington Alumni for Students Scholarship, no matter the size, truly counts.
Kelsey Gill, the 2015-16 recipient, describes what the support of fellow students, alumni and friends means to her:
“Thank you so much for your generous support of the Indiana University School of Nursing. I am so grateful and honored to receive the IUSON Bloomington Alumni for Students Scholarship. Because of this scholarship, I do not have to work full time while also attending school. I am able to devote much more time to my studies so that I can be the best nurse that I can be.”
