Indiana University is poised to be the most progressive fraternity and sorority community in the United States, and we need your help in supporting the Herman B Wells Greek Education Fund.
As we approach the 2020 Bicentennial Celebration of Indiana University, we are committing our time and resources to achieving former IU President and Chancellor Herman B Wells' vision of an ideal Greek community for today’s fraternity and sorority students.
As October's Greek newsletter outlined, IU Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) community annually offers a robust series of programs to enrich the experience of its 8,000+ members, across all four Greek councils.
Indiana Greek Emerging Leaders (IGEL) is offered once a year. However, with the increase in sophomore student leaders at the helm of our chapters, additional IGEL is required to impact these younger potential chapter presidents.
IGEL provides many of the proficiencies that achieve learning outcomes aligning community issues with chapter values such as leadership, civic engagement, social responsibility, intercultural competence, intellectual growth, personal well-being and safety, personal development and practical skills.
Your financial support of the Herman B Wells Greek Education Fund will provide Indiana’s Fraternity/Sorority community of 75 chapters expanded educational community-wide programming beyond the capacity of the individual chapters and their governing councils.
Your gift to the Herman B Wells Greek Education Fund will help meet the needs of our growing fraternity and sorority community.
